May Reveals the Complexity of the Construction Process

Work at Nová Myslivna is continuing to bring the future shape of the entire project increasingly into view. Alongside the technical progress, more and more architectural details and design features are beginning to define the character of the development.

Inside the building, work is progressing on internal plastering, subfloors and the installation of building services systems. The apartments themselves are currently among the most advanced areas of the project, with each stage of construction flowing seamlessly into the next.

At the same time, work on the building envelope is continuing, including the installation of windows and HS portals, as well as the construction of the façades and roof structures. The building is gradually becoming enclosed, with both its form and architectural identity now increasingly taking shape.

The façade itself is among the most technically demanding aspects of the project. This is largely due to the building’s evolving geometry and the use of curved forms that reference the contour lines of the surrounding landscape. Rather than relying on a simple repetitive system, the architecture of Nová Myslivna has been designed to respond naturally to its setting and the landscape into which it is carefully integrated.

Another particularly demanding phase was the construction of the restaurant’s tubular structure, which will become one of the defining features of the entire project. Here too, it is clear that Nová Myslivna has not been conceived merely as a residential development, but as architecture with a strong emphasis on detail, form and the seamless integration of its individual functions.

Construction continues to progress according to schedule, with the project now moving into its next phase — one focused not only on the structure itself, but increasingly on shaping the final character of the entire development.

Why Do We Feel Better When We’re Close to Nature? And What Does It Mean for Everyday Living?

When choosing a new home, most of us naturally focus on factors such as layout, floor space, local amenities and transport links. Yet there is another element that has a profound impact on our quality of life, although we often only start to appreciate its importance when it is missing: our connection with nature. It is no coincidence that people consistently seek homes close to parks, woodlands and bodies of water. The environment in which we live influences our mental wellbeing, our ability to relax and unwind, and our overall sense of satisfaction in daily life.

“You’re standing on a forest path, and for a moment it feels as though you’ve left Brno behind. Then the trees part, the view opens up, and the city lies beneath you like a map.”

That’s how Suit magazine introduces Nová Myslivna — a project rising above Brno that is far more than just another residential development. It is a place with its own atmosphere, rhythm and character.
