Construction work in October

October
2024

The foundation is the most important thing, and we’ve finished drilling and filling 220 posts with concrete. This is what Nová Myslivna will stand on. A quarter of the foundation slab is completed, and we’re working intensively on its remaining section.

Big changes also happened on the first basement floor, where the utility facilities pertaining to the wellness center have been installed. After careful waterproofing, we’re now fortifying this space. Another thing we’re currently working hard on is the precise placement of waste infrastructure.

Thanks to the amazing weather this month, construction work has been progressing by leaps and bounds. Here are the latest facts and figures fresh from the Nová Myslivna construction site.

220 posts
We drilled and filled with cement 220 foundation posts on which Nová Myslivna will stand. We took great care with the building’s foundation since we were dealing with very hard ground.

3,000+ m3 soil
Before Nová Myslivna can rise up, we needed to start underground. To get ready for construction, we removed over 3,000 m3 of soil.

45 people
This is the number of people who come to work at Nová Myslivna on a daily basis. Workers are currently focusing on the foundation slab and on the utility shaft for the future wellness zone.

2 cranes
We’ve temporarily changed Brno’s panorama. Two tall cranes now tower over Nová Myslivna, and two others will be added at a later date.

24 months
This is the amount of time we have to finish Nová Myslivna. In fall 2026, we’ll be handing over the first apartments to their new owners so they can enjoy the most beautiful views in Brno.

So you're not out of the loop

Comfort and quality of living start from the moment you choose your home

Premium living is about more than the view, the quality of the materials or the services available to you. The buying experience itself matters just as much. How much do you need to pay upfront? When is the remaining balance due? And how much time do you have to arrange your financing? At Nová Myslivna, the process is designed to be straightforward. Once the apartment has been reserved, the buyer pays 20% of the purchase price. The remaining 80% is only due once the property has received its final approval and the apartment has been handed over. This means there is ample time between reserving the apartment and paying the remaining balance to arrange your financing well in advance.

What Lies Behind 13,000 m³ of Concrete?

13,000 m³ of concrete. It is a figure that is easy enough to read, but much harder to visualise. So what does that amount actually look like? Almost the same volume of concrete was used for the reinforced concrete foundation slab of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. The figure of 13,000 therefore represents a scale that may not be immediately apparent when looking at a construction site. But the number itself tells only part of the story.
