We asked Jan Ševčík, the main construction manager of BRESTT STAVBY a.s., the company that is creating Nová Myslivna, how work on it is going.
In December and January, work progressed from the underground floors to the above-ground ones and the structure is slowly but surely gaining in height. “We started working on Nová Myslivna in mid-September 2024 and we should be finished by the end of 2025,” says Jan Ševčík. “The total amount of concrete that the structure will need is roughly 14.500 m³. Our estimate of the total amount of reinforcement is 2,200 tons. We’re currently storing about 4,500 m³ of concrete and 750 tons of reinforcement, which is approximately 30–35% of the total volume,” he adds.

The Nová Myslivna project is entering the phase in which its actual architecture is beginning to emerge from its shell. As the reinforced concrete skeleton grows and work begins on filling the building’s openings, i.e., windows and doors, the building is gradually taking on its future appearance.
