August Brings Further Progress to the Façade

Construction of Nová Myslivna is progressing according to schedule, with new elements gradually being added to the building and shaping its final appearance. In recent weeks, the most noticeable changes have been taking place on the façade, while work on the terraces has also continued.
New Façade Elements
One of the latest developments in August is the installation of cladding fins on the sixth-floor tube structure. At the same time, work is underway on the glazing of the façade’s enamelled glass panels and the installation of the structural glass façade.
What does this mean?
Fins are elongated elements that form part of the building’s external cladding. Enamelled glass panels are made of glass coated with a ceramic enamel that is permanently bonded to the surface during heat treatment. A structural glass façade refers to a glazing system in which the glass elements are structurally connected to the façade’s supporting system, keeping the fixing elements as discreet as possible from the outside.
Work Continues on the Terraces
Another key step currently underway is the installation of terrace railings. This part of the project is also progressing throughout August, alongside the other ongoing works on the building.
Irregular Shapes – One of the Challenges of the Construction
One of the defining features of Nová Myslivna is its irregular building shapes, which also represent one of the major challenges of the entire project. This architectural diversity emphasises the distinctive character of the development while also highlighting the complexity of its construction.
Nová Myslivna is therefore far from a conventional building. Its distinctive design places significant demands on the construction process and is one of the elements that makes the project truly exceptional.
Construction Continues Throughout August
As work progresses, it is becoming increasingly clear how Nová Myslivna will look once completed. The cladding fins, glass façade elements and terrace railings are among the latest details gradually shaping its final appearance.
It is this combination of a striking façade, irregular forms and unconventional architectural design that gives Nová Myslivna its distinctive character – making it a building that is sure to stand out.

13,000 m³ of concrete. It is a figure that is easy enough to read, but much harder to visualise. So what does that amount actually look like? Almost the same volume of concrete was used for the reinforced concrete foundation slab of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. The figure of 13,000 therefore represents a scale that may not be immediately apparent when looking at a construction site. But the number itself tells only part of the story.
